About the GCU 10k Race Series

The GCU Run to Fight Children's Cancer will be on a flat, fast course around Grand Canyon University. The 10k is a running race only.  The 5K is for walkers or runners.  There will also be a cancer survivors walk at the end of the race.  All 5K/10K runners are encouraged to cheer on the survivors during their walk and at the finish line.

Special awards to the top male & female winners of the 10K and 5K Runs. The top three finishers in each of the following age groups in the 10K and 5K Runs will receive special awards: 11& under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over.

Race Date: March 9, 2013

Location: Grand Canyon University: 3300 West Camelback Road Phoenix, AZ 85017

• 6:30am: Registration Opens- Packet Pick Up and Race Day Registration
• 7:00am: Vendor Expo Opens
• 7:30am: 10K begins
• 7:45am: 5K begins
• 8:30am: Cancer Survivors Walk begins
• 9:00am: Awards: 3 Deep in all age divisions for the 10k and 5k and top overall for the 10k
• Noon: Vendor Expo Closes
